UNION IS STRENGTH
The saying means there's strength in unity. If we have a tendency to stay united, we are going to be ready to resist the attack of our enemies and overcome our difficulties with success. If we have a tendency to quarrel among ourselves, our opponents can simply conquer US. But, due to their united efforts, their conditions have improved steady. In all spheres of life, union is strength, separation is weakness. A united family, a united community, a united nation, is strong, however once split and quarreling, they're all weak.
